Joanne Brooker (Australia - Saudi Arabia)
- Joanne Brooker’s creative talent and painting skills have establishing her as one of the worlds most exciting and original artists. Under the name, Applegate, Joanne created editorial illustration for the News Ltd newspapers for ten years.

- Winning Awards including Best Artist at the Queensland Media Awards on three occasions, Best Artist at the Stanley Awards for Media, NSW Journalists Best Artwork as well as dozens of other media art awards, Joanne was encouraged to extend her artistic pursuits overseas.
- After leaving the newspaper world in 2001 Joanne worked throughout China as a Caricaturist and Art Teacher.

- Joanne’s dedication to her craft saw her undertake a solo journey to Iran during the Danish cartoon protests in order to understand the power of political cartoon.

- Her artwork has been exhibited in Barcelona, Iran, Scotland, France, China, Bolivia, Colombia and Australia wide. Joanne has travelled thoughout South east Asia, India, Turkey, Bolivia and plans to continue to explore her art worldwide.

- Joanne has continued to develop her vision and artistic creations with huge passion, energy and commitment.
